The first step once you have read the prospectus or been on the website, is to arrange a visit to the appropriate part of the School. This may be by attending an Open Morning or Evening, or by making a personal appointment to meet with the Head Teacher.
Once you have toured the School and made the decision for your son or daughter to join Claires Court Schools, you will need to complete the Registration Form contained in your prospectus pack and return this to the Registrar together with your registration fee of £75. Your child’s name is then put onto the Entry List.
When you have registered, we will then plan to interview your son or daughter and take up references from the current school. Most of the academic information we require is available through the school reference and specialist reports, where they exist, so pupils are not tested for their academic ability at interview.
Assuming these formalities are completed, an offer of a place will be sent to you together with a request for the deposit of £500. Once you have returned the signed Acceptance Form and deposit, your child’s place will then be confirmed on our Entry List. In the event of us not being able to offer a place, we do not refund the Registration Fee.
Obviously we understand that there is a great deal of ground to be covered but we make every effort to make this as simple and seamless as possible, to ensure a smooth transition and continuation of your child’s education at any stage from Nursery to Sixth Form.
