We know that as children grow and develop they may need activities that immerse them in an enriched social environment filled with increased challenges.
Our kool kidz Xtra programme offers both physical and artistic stimulating opportunities designed specifically for children that want to spend more time developing their active or creative talents and keen to learn new skills in a fun environment. These activities are based at Holiday Club but children opting for the kool kidz Xtra will spend the day with skilled coaches/teachers with the option to finish the day with a swim. All the courses offered in the kool kidz Xtra programme are structured to allow children to attend for single days or multiple days as the content is always different allowing for continuous development. Our programme has a diverse mix of activities giving participants many different opportunities. The courses are generally for the older child but please check carefully the age restrictions for each individual course. Places are limited on each of the activities so ensure you book early to guarantee your place.

Art and Craft Club
Art and Craft Club is offered as part of kool kidz Xtra and is a friendly and inviting space for resourceful children in which to explore creativity, try something new and make new friends along the way. We are committed to helping anyone who wants to be creative to learn new skills and produce quality works of art and funky craft items. We will inspire young people to work towards the nationally recognised Arts Award available to anyone attending the club and also encourage art portfolio and sketch book building. We are committed to providing a truly unique experience tailor made to our clients needs with new and inspiring ideas. We will work on building creative confidence, to use new media, tools and techniques, to practice skills and, hopefully, to find joy in the process of creating something unique. All the courses offered in the Art and Craft Club programme are structured to allow children to attend for single days or multiple days as the content is always different allowing for continuous development. Our sessions are run by a team of professional dedicated CRB checked instructors. All our staff have a background in the arts and teaching and have many years of experience running art and craft activities with children. We aim to send children home with masterpieces to show off but, most of all we aspire to create newly confident artists.
We also offer Saturday Art Club which is available during term–time.

Sport Club
The Sport Club is offered as part of kool kidz Xtra and is open to children of all abilities and will focus on developing skills and playing sport in small sided games. A variety of sports will be on offer to help participants understand the fundamentals of space, teamwork and most importantly enjoyment! Each course will be led by qualified and experienced teachers and coaches with a high level of experience, in a positive and fun environment. All the courses offered in the Sports Club programme are structured to allow children to attend for single days or multiple days as the content is always different allowing for continuous development.
Each day will consist of:
- Warm up session
- Technique training sessions
- Skills development
- Teamwork, respect, discipline and sportsmanship
- Fun games to develop technique

Drama Club
The Drama Club is open to everyone aged eight years and above. No previous acting, dancing or singing experience is necessary and each child or teenager will be nurtured and developed at their own pace.
We offer a range of topics covering a wide variety of age appropriate skills, genres and subjects. These are all taught using a diverse range of teaching and learning skills and using a huge number of stimuli!
Using Drama specialists the Drama Club aims to create confidence through taking on and mastering a variety of roles, to build team spirit through work in groups; and to increase students' self–esteem. You'll discover how versatile, rewarding and challenging drama can be. All the courses offered in the Drama Club programme are structured to allow children to attend for single days or multiple days as the content is always different allowing for continuous development. Each day will focus on one of the following:
- drama games
- improvisations
- music and rhythm
- making costumes and props
- making puppets and masks
- storytelling and performances

Outdoor Adventure
Our experienced Outdoor Education team has put together an exciting and fun packed Outdoor Adventure programme for the coming holiday. Have a look at their website for full details to find the activity to suit. Whether it's learning to sail, kayak, or mixed fun on and off the water.
