Pre-Prep pupils became waitresses for the afternoon in their little white hats, serving teas and drinks and ice cream, in their ‘parlour’. The ‘waitresses’ took orders, added up the cost, took the money and gave change as well as serving their customers. A delightful afternoon.

College and The Wizard of Oz
What an amazing production! A colourful and outstandingly well performed and produced show provided tremendous entertainment for packed audiences on two nights. The Yellow Brick Road worked its magic with the Tin Man, Scarecrow and Lion providing Dorothy with her travelling companions. So many great performances it would be unfair to highlight anyone specific – congratulations to all who made a contribution in whatever form it took. Another outstanding success! The collection for Chernobyl Children raised a massive £634.32 which will be much appreciated. Thank you.

World's Largest Lesson - April 2008
On Wednesday 23 April, our Year 7's in geography lessons took part in a World Record attempt - we registered to take part in The World's Largest Lesson. The purpose of this is to help remind governments of their promise to provide education to all children. There are still 72 million children without access to education. We are going to design and annotate cards - each card will represent one of the 72 million children. These will be displayed and then sent to our Prime Minister. We would like to say Thank You to all the boys who took part, and as you can see, much enjoyed the lesson. If there is anyone who would like to help and make a card, please see Miss Murdock. Schools all over Europe, South America,Asia and North America are all taking part - and Maidenhead.
