Great result from the National Schools Sailing Association Two Boat Team Racing Championships where there were 33 teams entered from schools and sailing clubs nationwide.
Claires Court Schools1 came 3rd Overall — Jack Ward & Sammy Isaacs–Johnson, Charlie Pritchard & George Goss.
Claires Court Schools2 were placed in the Silver league. We do not have their actual result as due to lack of light racing was cut short. We know they weren't 1st or 2nd in this league of 6 so their overall place would be somewhere between 9th and 12th. Patrick Donovan & Zac Sanders/Charlotte Hole, Jordan Flynn & James Melling.
Claires Court Schools3 decided that as the wind strength increased and all except 4 boats in their race were upside down at once (including them) they headed for the warmth of the clubhouse, so gracefully retired after some fantastic racing for those new to competition. Rachel Platt & Leander Harlow, Hamish Walters & Charlotte Hole
The 1st and 2nd places went to Magdalen College Oxford. This is certainly a result we can be proud of.
