80 hardy Year 10 geographers set off to Port Talbot, fearing the worst due to the time of year and Mr Rayer's description of the location, to spend the week-end collecting data for the first stage of their controlled assessment. Much to everyone's surprise not only was the weather positively balmy, so much so that some of the boys stripped off their shirts for welly races(!) and one of the girls took a ‘dip’, but the location was also really beautiful too (if you didn't look in the direction of the steel works!) It was a very successful and tiring geographical weekend and from the comments that are being heard on the gossip grapevine it seems like it was well enjoyed too!
