Last Saturday Rory Kempson travelled to Boston, Lincs to take part in the Early identification Trials with British Rowing. He was accompanied by coach Chris Clark and two MRC mates for their first foray at this level. Having seen one sculler shoot past him, Rory had thought he was without hope but pressed on only to find that it was the winner who had passed im. Rory came 44th — in the top third and ahead of both his club mates. We hope to hear further good things of Rory's prowess.
