Boat Club ‘Christmas Scratch Regatta’ 14 Dec 2011

A fun time was had at the Claires Court Schools Christmas Scratch Regatta when 4 crews with boys from years 9 to 11 and boys and girls from the Sixth Form raced ‘amicably’ in constant rain! All were suitably decorated in a variety of Christmas attire. With the backing of Christmas tunes and a seemingly endless supply of hot chocolate and biscuits, the racing was a spectacle to behold!
The eventual winning team after six races was that of Michael Pisano, Rory Kempson, Tom Daniel and Alex Richardson coxed by Michael Robertson.
For all involved, the icing on the cake was that not only did the winners get prizes, but everyone went away with a much needed — after the exertion of racing — chocolate bar!
