Ridgeway junior boys plant a tree – or 7! 1 Dec 2011

The junior boys at Ridgeway lined up to both watch and take part in the planting of trees. Following the removal of 4 diseased horse chestnut earlier this year, it was decided to plant an avenue of 7 trees — one to represent each year group from Reception to Year 6. Hugh Wilding, Administrative Principal and Bursar, directed the proceedings with two of the boys helping with the spade work and Jeff Watkins, Head, on hand with the watering can.
