    Award winning author Ali Sparkes visited Senior Boys and Senior Girls to launch the first of her creative writing workshops for Year 8. A hugely successful and popular author herself, she shared her experiences and top tips to unlock the creative writer in all our pupils.

  • Fireworks Family Fun

    Saturday saw the Junior Boys grounds filled on a balmy evening with crowds of families meeting to enjoy a fun filled Fireworks evening along with much entertainment.  The stalls run both by the pupils and the PTA (with the support of School staff) were all busy whilst the bar, run by Senior Boys’ staff and parents did a roaring trade.  PTA members from Junior Boys were kept busy on the barbecue serving up burgers and hot dogs cooked and transported to the marquee by the kitchen staff.

  • ISA Regional Art Winners

    Stunning and creative artwork by Claires Court pupils impressed the judges at the recent ISA London West Region Art Exhibition and Competition, with several pieces picking up awards.

    Held at Norden Farm on Tuesday 3 October the exhibition displayed artwork from over twenty five independent schools from around the London and South West region, with age groups ranging from Reception Years to Sixth Form. Pieces on display consisted of paintings, drawings, 3D work, textiles, photography, fashion design, computer animation and sketchbooks.

  • PTA Fireworks - Get Your Tickets

    The popular and exciting Fireworks Spectacular returns on Saturday 14 October, organised by the Claires Court PTA. Make sure you arrive at 5.30pm to enjoy the delicious food on offer, fun stalls and sideshows by Year 10 and Year 11 pupils and live bands.

  • Jeans for Genes 2017

    Across the school, pupils brought in £1 for the privilege of wearing jeans for the day on Friday. At Senior Boys, the senior prefects and a few Year 11's who stepped in at the last minute, presented a whole school assembly on Thursday 20 September.

  • Speech Day and Prize Giving 2017

    A former pupil and now Lord was the guest speaker at the Claires Court Senior and Sixth Form Speech Day and Prize Giving on Thursday 21 September.

    The school welcomed around 900 pupils, parents, invited guests and staff to the event held at the Magnet Leisure Centre.  The afternoon’s celebrations honoured those in the school whose success and contribution over the previous academic year, showed commitment beyond normal expectations. The Head Girl and Head Boy led the proceedings reflecting on the year that was, through an entertaining video montage of photos, you can view the video here.
