    The Lower Junior Girls Christmas Production this year followed the story ‘Lights, Camel, Action’. This story was inspired by a popular TV dance show and celebrates the story of Christmas. Audiences were treated to an exciting line up of celebrities dancing and recalling their roles in this miraculous story with dance styles ranging from Tango to Line Dancing and Ballet to Disco.

  • A Christmassy Twist on Cinderella

    This year Upper Junior Girls Christmas performance took on the style of a modern day panto. The play looked at the traditional Cinderella story line and gave it a great twist.  Cinderella, Rockerfella  (aka Prince Charming), along with a cast of animals, Buttons the servant, and a whole host of supporting actors helped the downtrodden Cinderella gain her ‘happy ever after’; and Fairy Nasty Boots was a true ‘evil character’.

  • Magical Science Lesson

    Year 5 were enthralled and inspired when Mrs Helen Williams, Science teacher turned into a witch and gave them a really magical science lesson. Using wands they turned on a light bulb, levitated a piece of wood to create a spinning top, had a 'shocking time' with static electricity and made an amber liquid magically change to red and green by shaking it.

    As part of their 'Amazing Amazon' topic, Year 6 visited The Living Rainforest in Newbury.  With a focus on adaptation, the girls took a guided tour through the Rainforest and saw all kinds of weird and wonderful creatures and plants.

    Year 6 Boys and Girls spent four fantastic days at a PGL base in Osmington Bay.  With a mixture of field studies and physical activities, the pupils fully immersed themselves in all aspects of the trip.

  • Juniors Tour for Hockey and Rugby

    On Thursday 9 November, Junior Girls in Years 5 and 6 and Juniors Boys in Year 6 embarked on a hockey and rugby tour to Newquay. The boys soon interacted with the girls, playing a humorous game of ‘dead ants’ in the service station. The next stop was at St Peter’s school in Exeter, where both boys and girls played their first Hockey and Rugby fixture. The girls were very excited and full of energy ready for their match.

  • Laying Their Wreath for Remembrance

    This week Year 2 boys and girls went on the minibus to Stubbings Church for Remembrance Day. They visited the memorial to remember those who died during World War 1 and 2 to enhance their learning about Remembrance as well as their studies on church features.
