When Claires Court first opened its doors in 1960 there were just 19 pupils. Today we are responsible for the care and education of well over 900 students from 3 up to 18 years.

It is a responsibility that we take seriously. Everything we do is geared towards developing bright, confident, caring young people who can and do achieve their full potential - academically, socially, on the playing fields and in the arts.

Our educational resources and sporting & leisure facilities are among the best in the area. Our teaching staff is well qualified, committed and enthusiastic.

The key to our success is a unique approach to your child's education - one that provides all the academic advantages of single-sex education combined with the best aspects of co-education.

We call it co-ordinated education. We begin and end with co-education in our Nursery and our Sixth Form.

From Reception to Year 11 our boys and girls are educated in a single sex environment. Their success speaks for itself.

But we also provide many opportunities for joint activity inside and outside the classroom - in the performing and creative arts, in sport, through our extensive extra-curricular programme and on outward -bound courses and organised holidays and educational trips.

Education tailor-made for your child

Though all the schools work closely together, each retains its own identity and individuality. All have earned excellent reputations for the quality of education and pastoral care they provide.

We never lose sight of the fact that each student is an individual and we work closely with parents to bring out the best in every pupil - an education tailored to fit your child from their first day at Nursery to their last in the Sixth Form.

At Claires Court we give each of our children the chance to fulfil his or her potential.
