The Next Step
Helping you achieve your goals after Sixth Form is important to us, we will spend time with you to ensure you are able to realise your ambitions and have a clear understanding of what your options and choices are.
What you do after the Sixth Form is part of this process, we will spend time with you to ensure you have a clear understanding of what your options and choices are. Our careers guidance is led by Mrs Rogers, Deputy Head of Sixth Form and through personal conversations, a dedicated careers website and a range of digital tools, we will introduce you to the university courses and employment opportunities your studies can lead to. A number of speakers also are invited in to talk about Gap Year options, apprenticeships, UCAS and alternatives to higher education.
Our students are successful in gaining entry to a wide range of universities and undergraduate courses. If you are looking to read Law, Dentistry, Medicine and Veterinary we provide advice, practice and guidance on the specialised Abilities Tests e.g. the BMAT for Medicine and Veterinary, or the LNAT for Law. There are a range of careers and university entrance workshops available, including visiting university speakers and admissions tutors, higher education fairs and support for completion of UCAS applications and personal statements. We offer a bespoke service for those aspiring to Oxbridge and other Russell Group Universities.
