The ‘waitresses’ took orders, added up the cost, took the money and gave change as well as serving their customers. A delightful afternoon. The Football Tournament started the day with teams participating as Euro 2008 countries. The eventual winners were Turkey – no England did not qualify here either!

The inaugural Caribbean Cricket Carnival was a great success with 6 teams competing for the right to play the staff side – the Odd Sox. The Veritas Trophy, briefly held by Captain Wilding, has been kidnapped by one of the gathers in a futile attempt to encourage an early re-match, but sadly time does not permit.

The rather too Caribbean weather with its downpour, cleared for full enjoyment of the Country Dancing display by the College girls and allowed one and all to enjoy a wander of the Fete making purchases of the outdoor stalls, enjoying a burger or some refreshments as well as the Bar and the Beer Tent.

Well done to all those who worked so hard. Photo Gallery
