Mrs Kirby's words Autumn week 2
Our first full week back has been full of lots of new opportunities and engaging activities (and maybe some tired pupils (and teachers, too!). It’s been wonderful to see so many pupils enjoying our after school activities and fixtures as well as ‘getting stuck in’ to the learning in the classrooms.
At the end of the summer break, we wrote to you with information about our new staff but I thought it would be a good idea to introduce them once again (along with their photos) so that you can put a face to a name.
Mr Edward Everitt - Junior Boys’ PE Teacher
Mr Shaun Dryden - Junior Boys’ Gap Student
Mr Chris Hoy - Junior Boys Year 6 Teacher
Mrs Charlotte Ring - Junior Boys’ Teaching Assistant
Miss Harriet Odell- Junior Boys’ Teaching Assistant
Mrs Laura Tammaro- Junior Boys’ Teaching Assistant
In concluding this week’s notes, please save the date for our major first whole school community event on Saturday 9 October, from 5pm - 8pm, the major showpiece being our music and fireworks (silent) at 7.15pm. Tickets will be on sale from next week, and it will truly celebrate our school’s return to full operation!
Have a wonderful weekend.
