Mr Spanswick's Words Autumn Term Week 3

This week, my Heads’ Words are going to be in pictures!! The main theme of these pictures is ‘The hard graft’ - so you will see the boys in action in the classroom, going through the rigours of academic learning and exploration with us. I know that many of you are joining us tonight for our Sports Department fundraiser, and the weather (fingers crossed) looks like it may be kind to us.
Our assemblies this week have been on Jeans for Genes day, the Paralympics, and the importance of being polite. Indeed there are several boys in the school who have been particularly well mannered, holding doors open for others, standing to the side when staff or visitors walk around the school, and ensuring that our Dinner Ladies are thanked every time for serving the food. Boys like Oliver Raison, William Gent, Lincoln Burns and Udhay Dhillon have been mentioned to me a number of times, and I can assure you there have been plenty more! Well done boys!
Have a lovely weekend and I hope you enjoy what appears to be the end of our summer sun!
