Mr Spanswick's Words Lent 11
Another term goes by, and I think it would be fair to say that we all need a chance to recharge our batteries! This week has been a reflection of our term as a whole - successful, rewarding, busy, exhausting, and above all, immensely enjoyable. I would like to thank so many of you for joining us at our Workshare event yesterday, which hopefully provided you with the opportunity to see how hard your son has been working, and also how much he has been learning. Moving around the forms, I saw many proud boys (and parents!) reflecting on some beautifully presented books, along with some Chromebook work and investigations.
I hope that you will have the chance to join us for our first ever Art Exhibition on Tuesday afternoon in the mezzanine from 2.30pm. Boys from Year 3 - 6 have been participating in a ‘Still life’ drawing competition and all of their efforts will be on display. I hope you enjoy our gallery today which is filled with sponsored walk snaps!
As we close for the term, I would like to wish you all a lovely Easter break. I know that some of our boys will be in school over the holidays for sports camp, some for chess, and some of our older boys will be going to France on the school ski trip - I hope there is plenty of snow for them! I am taking my family down to the Dordogne in the first week, where I am hoping there is no snow!!! Plenty of sunshine would be nice! Wherever you are spending your holidays, I wish you all a wonderful break.
