Mr Richards' words Lent week 7

With announcements coming thick and fast from both Number 10 and the Department for Education. I would like to thank Mr Spanswick for his excellent work to ensure all our students will return to school on 8 March, tested, masked, and distanced.
With so much information to digest, it will be a brief bulletin from me this week. Of course, school never stopped but we are so excited about getting back into the buildings, getting pens in our hands again, and away from screens - hurrah! We will be using every opportunity we get to laugh, socialise and learn together. Look out for the after-school programme from the PE department.
I'm pleased to say that our Boulter’s Island Outdoor Education building opens in March, giving us direct river access for various water-based activities on both the Cliveden and Maidenhead stretch of the River. April/May PE activities will include such paddling and we expect to be commencing water-based expeditions later in the summer as the girls and boys skills develop!
Finally, good luck to Year 11 next week in their Mid-Term Assessments. They have worked so hard to prepare for them and we are confident they will be proud of their results.
