Mr Rayer's Words Lent 8
This week we have had held three whole school assemblies, the Alex Devine and Sports Able charities spoke to the boys about their work and how pleased they were that they have been chosen for our support (Thames Valley Adventure Playground were due to speak on Friday, cancelled due to the weather) and Mr Weispieser who was speaking to the boys about World Book day, entertaining as always.
Year 8 enjoyed their trip to the Ashmolean and Pitt Rivers Galleries, their behaviour was excellent, well done!
It will be a busy week next week with visits to Rushall Farm (Year 7), Dorney Court (Year 8 Civil War Day), the ISA U16 Sevens Tournament at Maidenhead RFC and finishing with the Senior Boys Cross Country on Saturday, as always please ensure that the boys are prepared for the worst of the weather.
"Advice is like snow - the softer it falls, the longer it dwells upon, and the deeper it sinks into the mind." Samuel Taylor Coleridge
