Head's Words Summer Term Week 4
It would seem that Summer has started, we have completed several cricket fixtures. I was lucky to attend the U15 match at Bray on Wednesday and it was a perfect afternoon (except we lost the game by 15 runs). A full programme for the weekend should all be played.
Well done to the rowers who had great wins at both Wallingford and Marlow Spring Regattas, the potential for a successful season was clear to see.
We will be announcing the new prefects this Wednesday, a very difficult task to choose the final boys, as clearly there have been a high number of talented applicants.
My personal thanks to the parents who are organising both the Boat Club Dinner and the May Ball, both have proven to be very popular and there is a huge amount of effort put into them.
I look forward to meeting the parents of Year 11 at their Leavers Assembly next Friday where we celebrate their achievements and wish them luck with their GCSE examinations.
Good Luck is a residue of preparation. Jack Youngblood
