Mr Rayer's Words Autumn 2
The good news is we have completed our first week and the timetable works!
I have been very pleased with how the new boys have settled quickly (Year 7 and boys into 8, 9 and 10).
The Year 7 Coaching morning was a great success and it was good to see such a large turnout. The feedback I have had from the Key Stage 3 and 4 Parents' Resilience Talks has been excellent.
We have issued the Year 8, 9 and 10 boys with a small bag with which they can carry their books for two lessons. The impact this has had on tidying the site of left books has been tremendous and I‘m looking to expand this to Years 7 and 11 in the near future.
Year 7 have their Team Building day at Cliveden today and Year 8 are off to Osmington Bay/ Lulworth Cove on Monday and they will be back on Wednesday, ready for Speech Day on Thursday. One reminder for Jeans for Genes day next Friday is to ensure your son remembers to bring his locker key in!
