Head's Words Summer Term Week 7
A huge sigh of relief has been around the site as the boys finish their Summer Examination (not there yet for Year 11) and they can look forward to a well deserved break. The weather promises to be good for the boys on Cricket Tour to North Devon and the competitors at the National Schools Regatta (for the first time being held at Dorney). Good luck to all.
At the end of Half Term we have the challenge of the Duke of Edinburgh Expedition so I hope the conditions remain pleasant for this event. Next term we will have the results of our academic assessments to share with parents and the boys have the ISA Regional Athletics meeting in the first week back. We remain a very busy school.
"Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. Failure is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end. Failure is something we can avoid only by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing." Denis Waitley
