Heads Words Summer Term Week 9

It is very strange how things change, at 14 .45 on Thursday people were avoiding me, however approximately 46 minutes later everybody was looking to hold a conversation (what a difference two goals make).

Healthy eating week has proved a great success, well done to Rupert Miller who won the healthiest diet on Monday, I'm sure he will enjoy his prize, however the Vegan curry and yoghurt with nut free muesli were not great favourites for the boys.Your son should bring home his grade card today well done to most and we will be arranging meetings where we feel there is a difficulty.

I hope to see as many as possible at the Fete on the 25, a great event has been planned and we hope the weather will be kind.

A quick mention of the Old Boys Cricket Match next Friday all are welcome to support. I will be cheering the First Eight on at the Qualifying event for Henley Royal Regatta.

Finally a quote from Jo Cox, who was MP for Batley and Spen

"Our communities have been deeply enhanced by immigration, be it of Irish Catholics across the constituency or of Muslims from Gujarat in India or from Pakistan, principally from Kashmir.

While we celebrate our diversity, what surprises me time and time again as I travel around the constituency is that we are far more united and have far more in common with each other than things that divide us."
