I am delighted that we have been able to complete an excellent and very full six weeks of work. We’ve all had so much to learn, living as much outdoors as in, making friends once more and working the ‘best bubble’ we can. I feel sure parents and teachers are missing the personal interactions that assist in bringing our community together, and I do assure you that we are brainstorming how to best bring us together over the ‘digital’ bridge of @clairescourt.net that connects our working world.

We’ve a host of Year 10, 11 and Sixth Form out over the weekend completing their Bronze and Silver Expedition components of the Duke of Edinburgh award, and we’ll have more news on the next cohort opportunities in 2021 shortly. Suffice it to say that the opportunities to engage with physical recreation, volunteering and skills acquisition can continue despite ‘pandemic’, and acquisition of the award is still highly regarded by employers and universities alike.
