Mr Wilding's Words Summer Week 9

Thank you one and all for the support you were able to bring to the Summer Fete last Saturday, providing if nothing else for the opportunity for us all to come together as a community.

Funds raised will in part help to fund the extensive array of medals and cups you will be able to see this coming Thursday 7 July, on the occasion of our sports day. Observers of our house events will note that House supporters wear the colour of their house - so parents - please feel fully invited to attend from 1pm at the Little Marlow Athletics Track, SL7 3RS, and tote the colour of your house as well!

Friday next week, and Monday following we host the Year 7 and 8 Drama festivals respectively, showcasing the wonderful array of acting talent we have developing lower down the school. Also, next Friday evening, cricketing staff are taking on the Old Boys on our new cricket square on Claires Court Fields at the Junior school, SL6 4QQ from 6pm. As ever, this means that I will be bifurcating for the evening, nothing new there then!

Final plans are almost complete for the final three days of collaborative year group activity in Activity week. I am very hopeful that we recreated some wonderful challenges and opportunities for our boys and girls to work together and conclude the academic year on a real high!

You may be sorry to hear that next week will be our last bulletin as it currently stands as we plan to change the format for the new academic year.  Please see the note in the main bulletin to ensure you are still signed up!

Have a great weekend,

Mr Wilding
