Mr Rayer's Words Autumn Term Week 5
All the rugby sides have started the season really well, however I would like to give a special mention to the U16's give the U16 s, who beat Reading School 10 - 7 in a very good game, normally the Year 11 boys represent the 1st and 2nd XV s so this may be the only time this year that they play as a year group, very well played.
The Year 7 Parents Evening was a great success and it was pleasing to meet and listen to the feedback of a year group who have settled in very well.
My thanks to the Year 8 boys who were guides for the Junior boys, a message from Mr Spanswick who had feedback from our visitors,"the tour guides were honest and full of humour", very well done.
The Sponsored Row is this Saturday and I will be there to help and witness the new Boat Naming, all are welcome. I look forward to meeting the Year 8 Parents on Wednesday and for a big turnout for the Fireworks a week Saturday.
