The Heads of Sixth Form Autumn 1

We have been very pleased with the way the students have settled into Sixth Form life.

Year 12 have clearly benefitted from the Study Skills workshops they attended on Wednesday, and have made an impressive start to their studies. They have already grasped our mission statement to 'Aim high, believe in yourself and make a difference'.

Over the next weeks, Mr Giles will be sitting down with each Year 13 student to review their summer grades and set plans for the coming academic year. Important Sixth Form dates can always be found on the school calendar on our website, and we look forward to seeing Year 13 parents for Parents’ Evening on Monday 25 September at 6pm and Year 12 parents on Thursday 5 October at 6pm.

    Life after Sixth Form

    After two years of hard study in the Sixth Form and for some up to 14 years as part of the Claires Court Community, our mature young adults are one step closer to achieving their aspirations and realising their dreams. With the skills and experiences in place to set them apart from the crowd, and guidance and advice to help them decide which path to choose, we wish them well as they embark on the next stage of life's adventure and of course the door is always open for our pupils to return and share their journey and experiences with us.
