The past week has included discussions on undergraduate degree courses in medicine, marketing and media, dentistry, engineering, philosophy and law. A number of Year 13s are considering studying in the USA and Europe as well as Russell Group and specialist universities in the UK. 

And each student is under no illusion around competition for places and how focused they need to be over the coming months to ensure they receive offers to pursue their preferred course at the university of their choice. As I remind our students regularly, work as hard and effectively as you can and be happy in the knowledge you could not have done anymore!
