Mr Giles' Words Autumn Term Week 4

It is with great sadness that today we say goodbye to Dr Faye Meek, our Sixth Form administrator for the last ten years, who has always been an integral part of the Sixth Form team. Dr Meek has brought experience, wisdom and order to the lives of many students past and present. She will be missed by staff and students alike.

Year 13 had a very successful Parents Evening this week and are now very clear about their goals and what they have to achieve over the coming months. For Year 12, we are now in the thick of their subject assessments which will be an indicator of their suitability for their current subjects.

    Life after Sixth Form

    After two years of hard study in the Sixth Form and for some up to 14 years as part of the Claires Court Community, our mature young adults are one step closer to achieving their aspirations and realising their dreams. With the skills and experiences in place to set them apart from the crowd, and guidance and advice to help them decide which path to choose, we wish them well as they embark on the next stage of life's adventure and of course the door is always open for our pupils to return and share their journey and experiences with us.
