Junior Boys PTA News

Read on to find out about the nearly new uniform shop, ordering your Christmas cards and the Christmas Market, plus catch up on recent events.

It was a busy first weekend after half term with both the Fright Night Disco and the 17th Annual CCJB PTA Chess Tournament. Thank you to all of you that attended one or both events and thank you to all of you who volunteered to help, as always your support is really appreciated. Our thanks also go to both, the Girls PTA who did a brilliant job of organising and hosting the Fright Night event and Mr Hogg who organised and ran the extremely successful Chess Tournament.

Our nearly new uniform shop (NNU) is now completed and ready to open for the first time on Friday 24th November from 8.20-9am. The shop is located alongside the Year 6 classroom and adjacent to the Year 3 and 4 locker rooms. Our plan is to open the shop each Friday morning to enable you to make purchases of any uniform you require, however, we know that many of you can’t get to school during the working week, so are also in the process of setting up an email address where you can make specific enquiries and purchases if necessary. Donations of uniform can be dropped to the shop on Friday mornings or with the school office on other days.

The Christmas Card order has now been posted, it was lovely to see so many fantastic drawings- thank you to Mr Goddard and all the class teachers for ensuring all the boys got their designs completed. If you have yet to order your cards then you can still do so online. Please make sure you have your unique card reference code to hand, you will find it on the bottom of your order form.

On the afternoon of Friday 8th December the PTA will be hosting our annual Christmas Market in the junior boys sports hall, the PTA team have been busy organising lots of different stalls, to ensure that you can purchase lots of Christmas gifts whilst enjoying mince pies, mulled wine and songs from our choir. We will be in touch over the coming weeks to ask for volunteers to help on the day and sell raffle tickets in advance, if you can help please let your class rep know.
