Mrs Wilding's Words Summer 12

What a wonderful year this has been and what a joy it was to see your children grow and develop in so many ways. Seeing them taking part in our annual Sports Day last week, on the stage at Christmas in front of a huge audience and everything they have done on a weekly basis shows me how amazing your children are. There was a turn around with the weather this year though as last year we had rain on Sports Day and sun for Fun Morning and this time it has been the other way. Fun happens whatever the weather, but running is a bit more tricky!! The children are real stars and deserve a very happy and healthy summer break.
With 21 new children visiting the Transition and Nursery classes it has been a busy time and we have to say that the existing children have shown great warmth and kindness in welcoming them. The new children are lovely and we look forward to them joining us in September. I still see prospective parents during the summer break so that the number of new children in September might be even greater! A big thank you goes to you for your wonderful recommendations and the very kind words which many of you have written to us recently.
As this is the last Bulletin for this academic year all that remains is for me to wish all the children, parents and my staff a well-deserved, happy holiday and for those children moving on to their Reception classes a wonderful life ahead.
Important Dates
Thursday 7 September the autumn term commences and we look forward to welcoming you for the new academic year.
