Mrs Wilding's Words Autumn 5
Individual Photographs
The children will be having their photographs taken on Monday 16 October and if your child does not attend on Mondays you are more than welcome to come in and have the picture taken at 8.30am. These make lovely family Christmas presents.
Reminders
- We look forward to seeing you at the Fireworks Evening on Saturday 14 October held at the Claires Court Junior Boys site, Ridgeway, as it is always a wonderful family occasion for all ages. Please see posters/ask staff for details.
- Please return any clothes which your children have borrowed from the Nursery and remember to name all outdoor clothing, jumpers, tee shirts, boots and shoes. If you have clothing for 3 year olds such as joggers, leggings, underwear and socks that you no longer require we would welcome them.
This Week
The nursery rooms have been full of African music this week and children have been busy creating prints of wild animal skins, learning about the wonderful animals in Africa and exploring small world toys of these amazing creatures. I am sure you will enjoy the displays they are all working on together.
Transition children had a great week looking at and talking about endangered animals, painting pictures of their favourites and practising their cutting and sticking skills.
Next Week
The week commencing Monday 9 October the nursery classes will be looking at the colours black and grey, the letter p, the number 5 and the topic “Pets” whilst Transition children will be learning about “British Wildlife” and the letters u,y.
