Heads Words Summer Term Week 8
The nursery classes have been investigating farm animals, creating some lovely free hand paintings of their favourites which you can enjoy seeing on the classroom displays. 3D models have also been created.
Transition children have been investigating the environment to discover things that are alive, were alive or never lived and have sorted into category. They have played card games associated with this and sorted according to the three criteria.
All the children have been on the running track and have started practising for our Sports Day on Friday 1st July. If you are away on holiday at that time please let your child’s class leader know as soon as possible so that running teams can be organised. Please send your children in wearing practical running shoes from now on as we endeavour to use the running track as often as possible.
During the week commencing 13th June the nursery children will continue learning about farms, the colour grey, the number 8 and the letter z. Any small toys incorporating a minibeast or orange would be ideal as their “Show and Tell” item this week. Transition children will continue learning about life cycles and the letter a.
Reminders
