Mrs Kirby's Words Week 3

From Mrs Ainsley:

Look out, look out, there’s been tigers about! The children have loved reading and discussing our story of ‘The Tiger who came to Tea.’ We have roared like a tiger, prowled like a tiger and created tigers with various media.

However, I think our favourite has been our tiger tea today. We made our sandwiches and then enjoyed eating them. Unlike the tiger though, we didn’t eat the whole plate of sandwiches or cakes!

Next week:

  • The story of  ‘three billy goats gruff

  • The colour red

  • The letter ‘u’

  • The number three

We will be celebrating Harvest festival next Friday during our Nursery assembly. If you would like to bring in an item of dry food such as pasta, tins, packets or biscuits we would be really grateful. The Salvation Army will be collecting it, quarantining for a period of time and then distributing to our local community in need.

Reminders

  • All snacks and lunches must be nut free. Please be aware that many pesto sauces contain nuts

  • Cool packs in lunchboxes

  • Please name jumpers

  • Harvest food.
