Mrs Kirby's Words Week 8
From Mrs Ainsley:
I was immensely proud this week to be part of the remembrance day service which Nursery attended. Your children were amazing. They listened and showed great maturity whilst The Last Post was played by Mr Gravett, Daisy’s Dad, and then stood for the two minutes silence.
We have also celebrated the festival of diwali, with the children creating diwas and singing songs about this beautiful festival of light.
The children and staff have explored the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I have seen number ordering, stained glass window houses, woodland small world play and even a dark den where the children pretended they were hunting for gems in the mines.
I can’t wait to see what is created next week!
