This week there has been lots of hopping and leaping from one frog activity to the other. The children have been singing the rhyme 5 Green and Speckled Frogs, encouraging counting forwards and backwards and using the vocabulary for taking away. The Busy Bees videoed themselves singing this and showing their mathematics skills.
The Honeycomb have created their own ponds with some amazing sparkly frogs, newts and lilies.
There has also been the recreation of the beautiful Spring flowers which are in abundance when you drive around at the moment.
I wanted to remind the parents of those children who are visiting our Junior Boys Site (satnav postcode SL6 4QQ) next week, of the days they are going. If you’re not sure which class your child is in, please ask your child’s teacher.
- Honeycomb - Tuesday 18th May
- Beehive - Wednesday 19th May
If you need to familiarise yourself with the timings of the day, please reference the letter that was sent out.
It is a really exciting morning for the children, and the staff can’t wait to take them!
- Topic = Butterflies
- Letter = o
- Number = 4
- Colour = multi coloured
Please bolt the gate shut when you are using the nursery gate.
We would prefer it if children do not wear sandals or Crocs during the Summer term. We do a lot of running and climbing and these types of shoes can be a trip hazard.
- If your child is leaving Claires Court at the end of the Summer term please give notice by the May half term.
