Nursery's words summer week 10

With the weather looking doubtful over the weekend, we were overjoyed that on Tuesday morning the rain stayed away, the sun made an attempt to come out and our Sports Day was able to go ahead.
As staff, there was a real sense of emotion seeing parents arriving and the children giddy with excitement. It seems a long time since we were able to have parents in to enjoy these times with their children.
The morning was seamless thanks to all the staff and the children and parents made it a happy, warming and exciting morning.
I have said many times how proud I am of our children and the confidence they develop during their time with us. They show resilience and are happy to take risks in every aspect of their learning. This was in abundance at Sports Day. Such important qualities to take with them through life.
We have also started our Minibeasts topic and the children have had lots of opportunities to go bug hunting and to create them using a variety of media.

- Our last day is Thursday 15 July. Please remember that the day ends at 3pm. There is no after school care on this day
