Nursery's words Autumn week 2
We have had a lovely first full week back and the children are all becoming familiar with the routine of the nursery. We are just a week in and the children are settled, happy and loving exploring their new environment.
Our topic this term is ‘Light and Dark’ but as always we have gone with the flow of the children’s interest too. This week so far, we have explored castles with accompanying knights plus built dens outside.
Miss Nicola was back for her Monday afternoon dance session and there were some great moves and rhythm. I can’t wait to see what they do next!
They were all very excited to have PE with Miss Hudson and Miss Reeves and this week’s lesson was listening and following instruction, finding a space and carrying out simple tasks like jumping, hopping and stopping and starting.
I’d also like to introduce Mrs Samantha Carree - Bumblebees Class Leader in charge of our two year old class.
Dates to remember
