Nursery's words Autumn week 6

I can’t believe we’re at the end of our first half term; it has flown by. It has been an amazing term of discovery for both children and adults alike; getting to know each other, exploring our new refurbished environment and enjoying new adventures in a variety of ways.
In addition to this, the children have embraced our additional literacy of introducing a song and a story of the week. Each week the children are immersed in language and characters linked to the book by role play, puppets, dance and music and movement. The nursery rhymes embed the skill of rhyme, beat, pace and alliteration which are key for future reading.
The children have done an ensemble of the rhymes and songs they have been learning. We hope you enjoy it. As always, please enjoy this as a parent but do not share it on social media.
We start back after half term on Monday 1 November and there is a slight change in our Forest School visits. Please see the separate email I have sent out.
We hope you have a wonderful half term.
