Nursery Words Lent Week 10
This week, we have simply been looking at ‘blossom’. It is a great indication that Spring is on its way and that Easter is just round the corner.
Knowledge and Understanding has been a big focus with the children. They have found out about the Blossom Festival in Japan, creating blossom pictures, making their own perfumes from real flowers and essences and writing Japanese symbols.
At Forest School, the Busy Bees class created pictures with natural objects which they found. We have also noticed how they have developed their collaborative skills over the past few months which you can see in the photo below.
This montage of photos shows the 2-year-olds enjoying more time outside this week.
We will be starting our work on Easter and continuing to look at Spring.
The Beehive class will have Forest School next week which will be the last Forest School session for this term.
Thursday 7 April - The last day of the Lent term. There will be no After School Care provision on this day.
Have a lovely weekend.
