Nursery Words Summer Term Week 1

Welcome back! We are looking forward to a term filled with exciting opportunities for the children.
We will be welcoming the arrival of our chicken eggs and have the delight of watching them hatch and grow. Later on in the term, we will also be observing caterpillars develop into butterflies. There are many more activities and events to look forward to, so look out for photos each week in the bulletin and reminders for what will be happening.
This week, we have had new children start in all three classes, and we are looking forward to getting to know them and their families. Our nursery children are always kind and have welcomed their peers; showing them where to go and what to do and generally making sure they are happy.
Information and reminders:
-
Forest school starts, and it will be the turn of the Beehive class. An email was sent on Wednesday giving information and dates.
-
Our topic work will start with ‘frogs’. However, the pond area is a haven for lots of wildlife so we will have great fun investigating.
-
You can now book the holiday care for May half term. Please click here to view the information and to book.
-
If you have skimmed milk, please can you save the red tops and bring them in for us to use. Thank you.
Have a lovely weekend.
Mrs Ainsley and the Nursery Team.
