Nursery Words Summer Week 9

I have to start this week’s bulletin with a wow, wow, wow. The nursery children were absolutely awesome on their sports day. It can be quite easy to think that these children are school age children with the way they coped with the morning.
They are confident, they are happy and are completely competent in their abilities. They dealt well with an audience and being photographed. Just these two things can sometimes make even the most confident of adults falter.
I then come on to our youngest members of the sports day: our 2 year olds. They equally shone with the gung ho attitude and their resilience.
The PE department does a fantastic job and it starts with these little ones. Their weekly PE lessons have them engaged from the start and each week they are excited for Miss Reeves and Miss Hudson to take them for their lessons. I cannot wait to see what future sports men and women we create.
Don’t forget our own Ellie Rayer, who plays as a hockey midfielder or forward for England and Great Britain used to be in our Nursery. Watch this space….
Have a lovely weekend!
