Head's Words Summer Term Week 3

This week I would like to share what happened in our Celebration Assembly on Friday. Chloe and Amalie, both in Year 6, asked me last week if they could celebrate National Dance Day by performing a dance in assembly.

I, of course, said yes. Well…. I was blown away by the beautifully creative and emotive dance to the song “Lost Boy” by Ruth B. The girls choreographed and rehearsed their piece in School at lunchtimes. It was so moving, that Mrs James asked Chloe and Amalie to perform in the Nursery and Reception assembly too.

It is at moments like this (which happen regularly here at Claires Court) that I reminded of just how motivated, creative and independent our girls are. I am so proud of Chloe and Amalie. They are true role models and examples of what our School is all about; instilling a love of learning and encouraging that desire to do something different.
