Miss Barlow's Weekly Words Lent 7

How much can you cram into one week?
Entries for the BBC's 500 word story competition, a Windsor Castle visit, entries for the War Graves Commission's poetry competition, social media songs, a visit to the Roald Dahl Museum, Chinese New Year celebrations, dissecting owl pellets and sport matches and tournaments too... all in a week's work! We're back after the half-term break and it's like the girls have never been away; so many things have been achieved this week!
Lots of homework project work has also been coming in this week. UFO's appeared in Year 6 whilst in Year 4, Megan planned a lesson for the class to teach them all about mummies (of the Egyptian kind!)
Here are a few photos of our first week back:
Next week, we look forward to World Book Day (get those costumes ready!) and we also look forward to welcoming The Link Foundation into our assembly on Tuesday to tell us all about the charity. We will be fundraising for The Link Foundation during our Charity Week in a couple of week's time.
I hope you all had a wonderful week's break and have a lovely weekend.
