Miss Barlow's Weekly Words Summer 5
It's been exam week this week, but that has not stopped us learning...
... nor has it stopped us celebrating the Royal Wedding!
Years 1-6 have all been working hard this week to show off everything they know but that hasn't stopped them from showing their creative sides. From creating habitat slides in Year 2, writing congratulatory letters to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and posting them to Clarence House in Reception, to role playing the Royal Wedding in Year 3 and singing songs from the Greatest Showman in Year 6!
Reception also took a trip to to the Library on the bus on Monday; learning how to use the public transport was a fun experience as was using Maidenhead Library!
Next week is Problem Solving Week, meaning the girls will come off timetable to solve lots of different problems in different contexts. We also look forward to the Upper Junior Swimming Gala - it is due to be very hot so flips flops, water bottles and sun cream are a must!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend whether it is spent watching the Royal Wedding, the FA Cup Final, both or neither!
