Mrs Kirby's Weekly Words Autumn 12
This week has seen our Christmas productions being performed to a range of different audiences. The Christmas Play season kicked off on Wednesday night... Upper Juniors performed Mary Poppins making many a face ache from smiling so much! On Thursday, we welcomed Burchetts Green to watch Lower Juniors perform 'Born in a Barn'. This acted as the girls’ dress rehearsal before performing it again in the afternoon to their families. The girls wowed the audience with their acting, dancing and singing skills.
Last night, it was the final production of Mary Poppins which I attended. Having been off for a few days this week with a bad back, this is just the medicine (or spoonful of sugar!) I needed! I beamed with pride throughout the performance. The talent and confidence shown was exceptional; it truly was. Mrs Stevenson, Mr Laouira and the entire staff should be congratulated for all of their hard work and directions; it truly was one of the best Christmas Productions!
Next week, we look forward to many celebrations including the Nursery and Lower Junior productions, the Panto trip, and some other special surprises too.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Leanne Kirby
