Mrs Kirby's Weekly Words Lent 2
First full week back and we are fully back into the swing of things....
This week it was our pleasure to welcome our parents in for Parents' Evening; it was fantastic to observe the in-depth and knowledgeable conversations taking place about your daughters. Thank you to you all for your continued support.
This week, Year 5 visited RAF Hendon. The girls learned a lot about WWII and experienced a WWII classroom with a very strict teacher. They had lots of fun!
Reception were visited by the naughty Knave of Hearts who tried to steal the jam tarts which the girls had baked. Reception had to teach the Knave all about the Golden Rules to ensure he didn't steal anymore!
PTA
This week the PTA Board met on Tuesday. We discussed past and future events as well as ideas for the upcoming AGM in March. We plan to invite pupils to talk about what the PTA has done for them. We are always looking for more members of Junior Girls to join the PTA so if you are interested, please contact me.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
