Head's Words Summer Term Week 7

Another half term has passed us by in a blink of an eye; the girls have achieved so much and experienced many different things.
At the end of last week, Year 4 enjoyed their annual Outward Bound trip in which they experienced sailing and canoeing (for as long as they stayed in the boat that is!) and camping out overnight. This week Year 5 took a trip back in time to the 1940s. The girls joined the boys at Bushey for a forties experience. They had fun, learned a lot and Miss Pelizzari and Miss Foster were put in the corner by the very strict teacher! Reception and Year 1 took a trip to the post box to post their postcards from their trip Bucklebury Farm last week. Year 3 have been growing chives, making quiches and learning about healthy eating and growing plants. (I’m sure we can provide the recipe as I have heard they were delicious!)
We are set to have a very busy last half term of the academic year what with Sports Day, the Lower Junior Swimming Gala, Prize Giving, Moving Up Morning, Summer Fete and much much more!
