Mrs Kirby's Weekly Words Lent 3
"There is a superhero in everyone..."
This week our capes, tutus and masks were unleashed on the girls at break times. After the success of Big Me Day, these props and costumes ignited the girls' creatively and imagination.
Also this week (apart from the Snow Day!), the girls have been working hard sharing their knowledge on castles, creating their own version of Penguin Problems (by Jory John) and talking all things dinosaurs! As well as all of this, this week has been the week of dance auditions; we anticipate the results and look forward to the show!
With the upcoming scholarships, many of the Year 6s have been working hard in preparation for the assessments on Friday and Saturday.
Next week, we look forward to National Storytelling Week with many different activities in all classes.
PTA
If you would like to offer your support to our PTA, I would really appreciate the opportunity to discuss future projects for Junior Girls. Please do let me know if you are interested.
Mrs Prescott
This week we say goodbye to Mrs Prescott for a while as she starts her maternity leave. We missed the opportunity to say goodbye to her properly on Wednesday but hope to do so next week when she visits. Everyone at Claires Court would like to wish Mrs Prescott all the best at this special and exciting time.
Have a lovely weekend.
Mrs Kirby
