Mrs Kirby's Words Lent 11
Another term completed…
Can you believe it?! I’m always surprised when another term is over as it feels like only yesterday we were wishing each other Happy New Year! However, this term has been full of so many learning experiences, which set the foundation for future progress. Science Week was a huge triumph and even though we have had a talent show, an informal concert, the ISA drama competition, fixtures and many more events, the time spent in the classroom has not been hugely disrupted meaning the skills and knowledge set out and planned for have been absorbed.
This week in our assembly the focus was ‘choices’; making the right choices and the consequences for the decisions we make. We spoke about how we can ask for help if we find making choices difficult and that if we make a bad choice, learning from this and remembering the next time is really important.
Next term there are more choices to be made including activities, sporting and musical opportunities (and which uniform to wear!).
I hope you all have a wonderful Easter break and I look forward to seeing you on the 24th April.
