Mrs Kirby's Words Summer 3
Just because it was a 4 day week…
… doesn’t mean we haven’t packed in a huge amount!
On Tuesday afternoon, our Lower Juniors wowed us with their Summer Concert ‘Four Seasons in One Day’; my goodness it was excellent! The girls performed an vast amount of songs and poems; how they remember all of these words always amazes me! Well done to all of our girls and thank you to Mrs Foster, Mrs Challis and Mrs Stevenson.
Also this week… Reception took their annual trip to Pizza Express, where they learned all about how the restaurant works and even made their own pizzas. Yesterday, we hosted our coffee morning for our New Reception parents. This event was a great opportunity to show off our school and the learning that the girls do; the reception girls impressed with their adding up of three numbers!
This we welcomed Mrs Cathy Brumage who joining our Office team as an administrative assistant to support Junior Girls and Nursery.
Today our singers took part in the first ISA National choral celebration. The girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves - more on this next week.
